Thank you to all the teams that participated in the Legacy College Showcase on Sunday, March 12. We appreciate your attendance. Hearty stock, all of you!

For the upcoming girls events scheduled for Saturday, March 18 (College ID games) and Sunday, March 19 (Showcase event), unfortunately, we have to cancel both events.

The primary reasons are:

  • The snowfall we received in our area has made the fields unplayable.
  • The forecasted cold temperatures, wind chills, and additional forecasted snow will result in continuous re-freezing of all turf surfaces creating unsafe conditions throughout the weekend.
  • The forecasted rain/snow mix over the weekend will also have the potential to create hazardous driving and playing conditions for players, spectators, and officials.
  • Many of the registered college coaches have informed me they will not be able to attend this weekend due to the weather.

As a reminder, the 32nd annual Hempfield Adidas Fall Classic Soccer Tournament will be held on November 18 & 19, 2017. There also is a college showcase event as part of the tournament. We encourage your team to attend. Registration starts in July! Hope to see you there.
