Welcome to the Hempfield Rugby Football Club & Penn Legacy Rugby (est 2006)

The HRFC Knightmares teams are a member of PA Rugby. The Knightmare boys field a U-19 and a U-15 side. The Knightmare girls field a U-19 and an attached 7th & 8th grade girl’s developmental squad. The Knightmares are club teams, open to all high school boys, girls and middle school boys & girls. 

Registration for PA Rugby will open on Sept 1.

  • GIRLS RUGBY PROGRAM NEWS: UNDER 15 – 19 (7TH THROUGH 12TH GRADE)
    Register Now for Penn Legacy Girls Olympic (7s) Rugby!

    • Register Now – First Tournament Sept. 20
    • The Girls Olympic (7s) Rugby season will start the week of August 17th with pre-season training at Centerville ES.
    • All pre-season training and practice will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5pm to 7pm
    • The Fall 7s tournament season will be every Sunday starting Sept 20 and ending with PA Rugby state championships on October 25th.

Former Hempfield Knightmares Rugby Football Club and Penn Legacy soccer player, Adriana Zeiders, has been chosen to play on the USA Rugby Women's Junior All-American team.
